Three types of inspection method
There are three types of inspection method for Symphony as follows.

Fixing mode
According to this mode, an excellent image is loaded and registered as the Master before inspection start. Then, the following products are compared to this Master for inspection according to the pattern matching way in order to check. The Master is the same one through all inspections and isn't changed with this mode, so the high-precision inspection can be realized. However, if the conveyance and the start-positioning in each cycle are not accurate and stable enough, it is a possibility that the system might make a mistake to find a defect even though it is not an actual defect.
- Renewal mode
The product image taken by each inspecting cycle will be automatically refreshed as Master for next cycle. You can do setting to select whether to use every inspecting cycle as Master even if it contains defects, or use only a good inspecting cycle as Master. In addition, the mistaken detection caused by unstable conveyance and inaccurate start positioning can be reduced by this renewal mode. However, there is a possibility that the system with this mode might not detect the flaws such as the color variation of the substrates or prints, which is gradually changing, and the streaks, which is becoming larger little by little.
- Interval mode
The product image will be automatically refreshed as Master at every particular interval of the inspecting cycle, which you can set arbitrarily. This interval mode is like the middle of fixing mode plus the renewal mode.
